Who Should Attend
Foundations of Governance is comprised of two components: six preparatory online modules followed by a one-day in-class session (Foundations of Governance in Theory and Action).
After completing the Foundations of Governance online modules, this case-based, one-day session gives a director a variety of opportunities to apply what has been learned about governance “in theory”.
This session will help you understand your role, have confidence in your role and understand the principles of good governance that will assist you in fulfilling your role.
By the end of the session you will walk away with a toolbox of skills and resources that you can draw upon as you carry out your director responsibilities with confidence.
