Who Should Attend
This eClass is comprised of three, 60-minute pre-work sessions and three, 90-minute online WebEx sessions. There is also a post session quiz that must be completed after Session 3. Completing all eClass components is required to be credited with completing this course.
This eClass has been designed to allow learners the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in their role as a Financial Service Representative (FSR) or once they have completed CUIC 240, Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning. The learner will explore the concepts of members’ financial well-being.
We’ll address risks; protection from loss of income, building wealth in a low rate environment, lack of diversification and the risk of not planning at all. Using facilitated exercises, we’ll explore the financial marketplace and see how tax planning and insurance play critical roles in a member’s overall financial health.
