Who Should Attend
As the first point of contact for our member, it’s important for Member Service Representatives to understand the basics of how a credit union generates revenue. How members are served, what products and services they purchase and even when they purchase these products can all come into play.
In this 30-minute module, we will explore basic credit union income and expenses. We’ll introduce the concept of Asset Liability Management (ALM) and how an MSR might be asked to help with the credit unions ALM strategy by focusing on a specific product or service offering. We’ll see how different products can generate different amounts of revenue for a credit union. Working through this module will help an MSR understand that their work can have an impact on the bottom line.
