Who Should Attend
This interactive, scenario-based eClass focuses on a systematic, five-step approach to handling estates. The eClass is comprised of one 60-minute independent pre-work session, three 90-minute online group sessions, one 60-minute independent homework session, and a final 60-minute online session. Completing all eClass components is required to be credited with completing this course.
The course focuses on the knowledge and processes required to:
- Work with the estate representative or executor.
- Help facilitate distribution of the estate so that the interests of the estate and the credit union are protected.
You will learn about:
- Mitigating potential liabilities, preserving the member’s assets, and protecting the interests of the credit union.
- Handling a number of common estate scenarios, each with escalating levels of challenge and complexity.
