Who Should Attend
The eClass is comprised of two 30-minute independent pre-work sessions and two 90-minute online group sessions. Completing all eClass components is required to be credited with completing this course.
This eClass provides the foundations of board and director development; a vital governance competency. The course initially focuses its lens on “the job” of the board and “the job” of being a director and from there, the competencies (knowledge, skills, behaviours and attitudes) those jobs require. With these tools, boards are in a position to evaluate their collective and individual performance and, identify specific needs and gaps. Now the board can proactively respond by developing an appropriate learning and development action plan.
