Who Should Attend

Event Description

The eClass is comprised of four 30-minute independent pre-work sessions and four 60-minute online group sessions. Completing all eClass components is required to be credited with completing this course. (See page 2 for additional details.)

In this one-day course, directors will learn about their roles and responsibilities specifically related to strategic planning. Through animated group discussions and case analysis, directors will leave this session with a greater understanding of the board’s governance role in the strategic planning process: from visioning, to goal setting, monitoring implementation and recognizing the need for change. From this course, directors see that strategic planning is a dynamic, ongoing process, not a static, shelved document; they also explore the tools that enable them to oversee strategy execution.
